- The mechanism within the watch is 4R36 automatic movement which is built in house and the calibre is comprised of 24 Jewels and a 41-hour power reserve.
- The placement of the crown is signature to the Seiko 5 Sport collection, positioned at 4 o'clock.
- Each Seiko 5 Sport displays a day and date window at the 3 o'clock position on the dial.
- The Seiko 5 Sports collection are known for significant water resistance up to 100 metres.
- The collection also comes with added durability of the case and strap of each model.
