Seiko 5 Sports Special Edition Silver Dial Silver Steel Strap Watch For Men - SRPK09K1
The Seiko 5 Sports collection celebrates its 55th anniversary with this special edition, paying homage to the design and colors of the SKX Sports Style series. The model is made of high-quality steel and reinforced with hardlex glass (hardened mineral). The aluminum bezel is rotating with a distinctive design and a combination of black and silver finish.
The display is simple with indicators for the day of the week and the month at 3 o'clock, black details and a luminescent coating on the hands and indexes for easy reading. It is powered by a precision automatic movement with caliber 4R36 and a power reserve of up to 41 hours. Diameter 42.5 mm with thickness 13.4 mm and chain width 22 mm. Water resistance: 10 ATM - allows getting wet, bathing and swimming in pools of water.
The design of this watch pays tribute to the popular Seiko 5 Sports watches from the late 1960s which were a firm fan favourite.
The overall look is a combination of newness and heritage – with the dial and the hands being new designs, common to this Retro Colour collection. The case is based on the SKX series case, whilst the bezel resembles the original 1960s models. It has ‘Special Edition’ engraved on the case back.
This particular timepiece is inspired by the 5126-8130 – the original ‘Rally Diver’ released in the late 60s.
