Tissot developed the first tactile watch 20 years ago. This high-tech feature improves watch ergonomics and makes it unique and intuitive to use. It is fitted with 23 jewels and its 21,600 vibrations per hour can be observed through a transparent caseback. The movement is "based" on the ETA 2824 variant. Tissot was heavily involved in its development, making it the first watchmaker in the world to incorporate it into its watches. This underlines its label as a major innovator in the watch industry.
The movement is housed in a case made of stainless steel. The dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which is highly resistant to scratches. With a water resistance of up to 50 metres (5 ATM), the watch can withstand minor contact with water, which can be compared to showering or washing hands.
